As your business grows, the financial complexity grows with it. Without a structured system, simple questions become heavy ones:
Momentum and hustle built your success. But momentum alone cannot create security.
When cash flow feels unpredictable, the instinct is to push for more — more leads, more sales, more growth. But if money is leaking out of the business, growth simply makes the problem bigger.
A bigger bucket with holes is still a leaky bucket. Scaling revenue without a financial framework just scales your blind spots.
Profit Lab is designed to help you identify those leaks, install a resilient financial foundation, and build a business that predictably funds your life — now and in the future.

I'm a Chartered Accountant, business owner, and mum of four originally from South Africa and now living in England.
Over the last 13 years, I've worked with businesses at every stage of growth, from ambitious startups to established multi-million-dollar companies. My career began with global firms including PwC and Deloitte before I spent eight years building and growing my own accounting practice, which I successfully exited in 2026.
Throughout that journey, I've helped business owners move from uncertainty and guesswork to clarity, confidence, and sustainable growth. I've worked alongside businesses generating multi six-figures supporting them as they grow to multi seven-figure revenues, helping them understand their numbers, improve profitability, strengthen cash flow, and make better decisions as they scale.
But one thing I've noticed time and time again is this: making more money doesn't automatically create more freedom.
That's why I created Profit Lab.
Because revenue is exciting. But profit is what changes your life.
A good accountant is invaluable, but their role is different from a finance function. Think of it this way: your accountant protects your past — they are your defence. A finance function helps build your future — your offence.
If you're generating healthy revenue but still wondering where the money goes, you probably don't need better historical reporting or tax planning. What you need is better financial visibility and forecasting.
Your accountant helps you understand what happened in your business. A finance function helps you understand what's about to happen — and how to influence it.
Because revenue and profit aren't the same thing. Many business owners assume that once they reach a certain sales figure, everything will fall into place and the profits will automatically follow. In reality, more sales often bring more complexity, more costs, and more pressure on cash flow.
Without the right financial structure, growth can magnify problems rather than solve them. More revenue isn't the goal. More retained profit and personal wealth are. The businesses that build lasting wealth aren't always the ones with the highest sales — they're the ones that know how to turn growth into predictable profit.
You don't need to become an accountant or spend your life buried in spreadsheets. The goal isn't to love numbers. It's to make better decisions.
Most successful business owners built their companies through expertise, leadership, and sales — not because they enjoy financial reports. A good finance system translates complex financial data into clear, practical insights, so you can confidently make decisions about growth, hiring, pricing, and profit without becoming a finance expert yourself.
It doesn't have to be. Many business owners hear terms like "finance function" and imagine endless reports, board meetings, and unnecessary complexity. In reality, it's about creating clarity.
It's the difference between checking your bank balance and actually understanding whether your business is building wealth. You don't need a corporate finance department. You need the financial visibility and structure that helps you turn business success into personal wealth, freedom, and confidence.
Many business owners feel that way — and that's often the biggest sign they need this support. When profit feels unpredictable, it's easy to think you need to wait until the business is bigger before putting proper financial systems in place. But waiting often means continuing to lose money through inefficient pricing, poor visibility, or avoidable cash flow issues.
This isn't about adding more work to your plate. It's about putting the right systems in place so you can make better decisions, protect your profits, and create more time, confidence, and financial freedom as you grow.
