About Ray

Hi, I'm Ray Armand, a Chartered Accountant with a Masters in Finance.

I started my career at Deloitte and PwC, then spent the last decade building my own accounting practice. In that time I sat across the table from hundreds of business owners. Most of them were doing well on paper but still felt anxious about money. Their businesses were profitable, but they couldn't see where the cash went, couldn't plan with confidence, and weren't building any real wealth for themselves.

In March 2026 I sold my practice so I could work on that problem directly. Xero Hero & Zuzo are the result.

I bring my perspective as a business owner and a mum of four young kids, so I know what it's like to juggle it all: payroll, VAT deadlines and family life all at once. I built Xero Hero and Zuzo for owners like me, who are busy and capable and want their money sorted, without becoming accountants themselves.

Because hard work builds your business, but only a money system builds your freedom.
